The three large classrooms on the first floor had remained essentially unchanged since the building opened in 1969. They still had the same blond wood tables and the same blue, orange or green plastic covered chairs. The only difference was the rooms resembled rainbows as chairs of one color originally assigned to one room came to be commingled with chairs of other colors in other rooms. The walls were still cinder block and the concrete floors were covered with linoleum. Large television monitors still hung from the ceilings. The blue tile walls outside the classrooms in the commons area surrounding what had been the pit shouted “’60s!”(History of Washburn Law School 1903-2003, p. 555-556)
